On My Radar 2.16.24

Hey guys & welcome back!

I finally feel like spring is on its way! We still have snow but you can feel the air just inching towards warmer, sunnier weather. I’ve started already started some flowers, including what I will dub my arch-nemesis, the Lisianthus, and the seed orders are more or less complete! I’ve been trying to edge towards a smaller, more efficient garden this year but I’m beginning to think my enthusiasm will get the better of me again this year. Here are a few other things that have been peeking my interest lately!

  1. Laura Ashley - Blue China Rose Electric Kettle, Stove Top Kettle, & Toaster.

I honestly had no idea you could spend so much on a toaster but I am so here for it and luckily found a cheaper alternative at Bed, Bath & Beyond! It is such a classic pattern and is so chic! I love that they have both electric as well as stove top versions of the kettle, and even the collection of plates and mugs are super cute!

  2. Minnow Swim

While they do offer an adorable line of swimwear for the whole family I think I’m most impressed by their girls & women’s dresses with options in 100% cotton & linen. It is in US so maybe a little pricey but as I’m trying to get more into the mindset of natural fibers, this looks like a great place to start!

  3. The Farmer’s Table- Homemade Vanilla Extract

Jess from Roots & Refuge on Youtube shared her recipe for making vanilla extract and I am so hoping to be able to give it a try this year! It looks like one of those cute pieces to include in the Christmas basket next year!

  4. Lenox Westmore Dinnerware

I am in LOVE! My inner ‘old lady’ is absolutely ecstatic as I tripped into a set of these for $250 on marketplace, and while I did end up bringing them home just to put them into storage, I cannot wait to have them in the new place! They are just the perfect accent of western sophistication.

  5. Homegrown Luffa Sponges with Bre Ellis

I’m not sure if this is the most exciting, or second most exciting thing to happen to be yesterday ontop of scoring the Lenox, but my local garden store re-opened for the season yesterday and I managed to score some Luffa seeds! I was debating I would have to order just these online, pay $10 shipping for one packet etc, but I was so happy to find them locally. Bre goes over how she turns these gourds into organic Luffa sponges on her Youtube channel and these are absolutely getting added into the Christmas gifts next year as well!
